Certifications Provide Basic Counseling Competency

As a minimum our certifications provide the basic foundation for beginning to lead support groups, do Christian counseling or Bible-based life coaching within a church environment.  Although we require supervised practicums as part of each certification program we also strongly recommend that students continue to have supervision after their certification until they become more experienced and competent in their field of study.    

Pastoral Certification: For ordained or licensed pastors.

 

Lay Counseling Certification:  For those wanting to assist their pastors with long term counseling clients.

 

Marriage and Family Counseling Certification:  For those dealing with primarily with marriages, family issues, anger and abuse, and parenting.

 

Addictions Certification:  For those dealing primarily with Codependent and addictive behavior.

 

Support Group Certification:  For those wanting to learn how to lead support groups.

 

Life coaching certification:  For those interested in becoming a Bible Based Life coach.
