Marriage and Family Counseling Certification.

This certification is for those who who wish to become more effective as marriage and family counselors in their current job or serve as a church staff counselor.

STEPS TO COMPLETE YOUR PASTORAL COUNSELING CERTIFICATION

1. Purchase the correct certification package below and read the text books.

2. Attend each required course in residence, by watching the videos on DVD or on the class webpage. After completion, each assignment should be sent via Email to submit@freechristiancouonselingtraining.com. The examination for the class will be sent to you when your last paper for that course is graded. Complete the final exam by underlining the correct answers and return it.

3. When the first three courses are satisfactorily completed, you will be enrolled in a counseling practicum where you will be required to complete at least 30 hours of face-to-face counseling with the supervison of one of our qualified counselors by submitting your session notes by E-mail (being careful to ensure client confidentiality).

You will also need to submit one video and one audio tape of two of your counseling sessions so that we are able to verify your competency as a counselor.

4. After you compete this supervised counseling you will receive a certificate signed by Dr. Reiner verifying that you have completed the required training and supervision, and are now certified as a marriage and family counselor.

In our bookstore, we no longer provide links to a particular book dealer but give lists of what we think are the best books on a particular subject allowing you to purchase these books where you feel appropriate

Some confusion has been brought to our attention that there are some other websites offering our videos as counseling training. We appreciate their desire to propagate our materials but we cannot offer course credit or validate any certifications they might offer.

We have loaded our newest course "Addiction Recovery According to the Bible" just recorded in Slovakia in English with Slovak interpretation. It has now been translated into Swahili and Arabic. These videos are entitled "Additions for Slovakia," "Addictions in Swahili" and "Addictions in Arabic." The Lord led us to present this seminar for the Roma (Gypsies) in Slovakia but we believe it is the purest all-Bible method of addition recovery yet and it is set up so that it can be easily re-interpreted into other languages. Logos University has raised their application fee to $100, Undergraduate tuition to $100 and Graduate Tuition to $125 per credit hour. Of course, students currently under contract paying Logos directly will not be affected by this increase. Logos does offer a 10% scholarships for students from developing countries.
