Course Description: This course teaches the Theophostic method for healing the inner man. Theophostic Prayer Ministry attempts to heal past emotional trauma by identifying the lie of how the client originally perceived the past event and replacing it with the truth revealed by the Holy Spirit. When a person perceives the event from God's perspective, the emotions connected to the event are permanently changed through the ministry of God's Spirit.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
1. First read underline important passages and insights in the Basic Seminar Manual before viewing the appropriate part of the DVD course.
2. Watch each DVD while referencing the book and take any additional notes not covered in the textbook. Prepare for the open book final examination.
3. Write a 3 page paper on a particular aspect of Theophostic Prayer Ministry that you want to learn more about. Use your Bible or additional TPM resources to expand on what you have already learned.
4. Write 5 page paper on how you used Theophostic Prayer Ministry with a client or on yourself, what problems you encountered, how you overcame them, and what was the result. Discuss particularly how you followed each step in Chapter 7 and 9.
5. For graduate credit students are required to write an additional 5 page paper on how Jesus ministered to people in the Bible and how Jesus ministers today through Theophostic Prayer Ministry. Make sure to give Bible verses and examples of your experiences with TPM to back up what you are saying.
6. Take the open book test that will be E-mailed to you when you obtain these materials. You may use your notes, book, or the DVDs for reference.
7. Submit your papers and final examination to Word of Life Institute for grading. Remember to include the class critique form so that we can have your input on improving this course. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you wish us to return your papers and final examination grade.
